It's now been two years in the DC area, working with Looped Yarn Store in Dupont Circle, DC and Fiberspace of Alexandria with lots of challenging projects and happy customers.

“On numerous occasions I have had Susan finish knitted items for me. She has graciously blocked them first, then skillfully seamed my knitted pieces into lovely garments. She did the edging for a vest of mine and a couple sweaters. Her wear-with-all in determining the right type of seam for each garment shows her skillful knowledge. I would trust her with my most precious work to finish. She has also repaired a scarf I knitted for my aunt. A dog jumped up on her and caught his nails in the scarf. She is also very fair price-wise for her work. I highly recommend her!”

Thank you sooo much for your work on the shrugs – I LOVE them (am actually wearing the grey/mauve now . . .)! Now I’m actively looking for sweaters that need seams – I don’t mind blocking or knitting complicated patterns, but hand sewing makes me cringe. Once again, many thanks for your spectacular work.
