Susan’s Yarn Garden is located in downtown Sioux City. We are a family owned and run business specializing in all levels of knitting and crocheting. We do repairs and finishing too – we are your knitting specialists. We carry over 100 different lines of yarns such as Rowan, Classic Elite, Cascade, Plymouth, and lots more – just click on our yarn selection icon and see. We take orders by phone if you would like, just call. We offer classes for all levels and almost all ages – see our schedule! George was offered a job in Washington, D.C. and because I’m crazy about him, I’m going too!  This relocation has made it necessary for us to close Susan’s Yarn Garden.  We want to thank all of our loyal customers who have made the store successful for the last 4 ½ years and hope you will continue to stay in contact with us through this website.  I will continue to offer advice, patterns, repair and finishing services to those of  you who love to knit and crochet. 

I will be working the entire liquidation week and my Heidi will be working partly too.  Closing down the store will begin Friday October 9 at 11:30 and will end the next Saturday, October 17 at 4 p.m.  Inventory liquidation will include yarn, needles, notions, patterns, books, magazines, bags, eye glasses and buttons.  Here’s how it will go:
